Module 4

How can technology be usd most effectively to support and assess student learning?

Through blogs, wikispaces, and similar sites or tech uses, we can build, support, and assess our students' learning needs on a faster pace than through just the classroom tools that we have available. It will be interesting to see if we can transition our kids into a more tech based curriculum that they will hopefully be able to understand better.

  2. I didn't realize that wikis were so easy to use...now I just have to learn how to set one up! I will be able to assess their learning through what they are putting up on the wiki. I believe that by using the technology itself we are supporting our student's learning.

  3. 1. Being able to suport and assess students without using paper is resourceful and non-tradional.
    2. Most 21st centry jobs require some knowledge of a computer or e-mail.
    3. Using technology in the classroom can help motivate a student. Students can learn and have fun at the same time.

  4. Using technological features such as blogs, wikis, etc allows students to focus on 21st century skills that are vital in life. By furthering students' education in these fields we help to enrich their life and prepare them for the future.

  5. I've been a little nervous to add so much technology to my classroom, but I think with a lot of monitoring, I think it's a fun way to actively engage students at all levels.

  6. I am currently using wikispaces.com and gaggle.net to enhance my students' learning in the classroom. So far, it is going well, but it has been a learning process for both of us.
